Airbus A380 A6-EDR entered service today as EK73 Dubai – Paris CDG. Seat Maps for the return EK74 show this aircraft to be in 38M 14F/76J/427Y configuration without the lower deck crew rest area.

QANTAS A380 VH-OQK Delivered.

QANTAS A380 VH-OQK left Toulouse today on delivery today routing Toulouse – Singapore – Sydney as QF6026. The aircraft is in New ‘Roo livery and 14F/72J/32W/332Y configuration and carries the name “John Duigan” on one side and “Reginal Duigan” on the other. This brings the QANTAS A380 fleet up to 11 aircraft.

Airbus A380 A6-EDR departed Finkenwerder this afternoon on delivery to Dubai as EK7380.

The EK49/EK50 Dubai – Munich rotation switched to A380 operation today with A6-EDP operating the first service.

A6-EDF Back in Service With New Logo.

Airbus A380 A6-EDF, under maintenance at Dubai since operating EK307 Beijing – Dubai on 1 November, returned to service today operating the EK17/EK18 Dubai – Manchester rotation. The aircraft carries a logo marking the Fortieth Anniversary of the formation of the United Arab Emirates.

QANTAS A380 VH-OQE Returns from Frankfurt Maintenance.

QANTAS A380 VH-OQE, which has been under maintenance at Frankfurt since 26 October, positioned Frankfurt – London Heathrow as QF6024 today then re-entered service as QF10 London Heathrow – Singapore – Melbourne.

Emirates today announced that from 24 January 2012 the EK29/EK30 Dubai – London Heathrow rotation will switch to A380 operation. This will mean three of the five daily Heathrow services will be A380 operated.
