Airbus A380-841 MSN085, Singapore Airlines 9V-SKS, was delivered Toulouse – Singapore today. The aircraft is in 12F/86J/311Y configuration and wears standard Singapore Airlines livery. This is the eighteenth A380 for the airline.
Emirates Airbus A380 A6-EDV was delivered Finkenwerder – Dubai today as EK7380. This brings the A380 fleet up to 22 members. This is the first A380 delivery since 24th February. Emirates refused to take delivery of any more A380s until initial wing root modifications had been completed by Airbus. It is still expected that each A380 will need to be removed from service for 2-3 months each at a later date for wing root modifications to be completed.

A Singapore Airlines A380 diverted to London Gatwick on 10th August 2008 but this is the first scheduled appearance of the A380 at the airport.

Commencing 1st December 2012 Emirates will switch the EK131/EK132 Dubai – Moscow Domodedovo rotation from Boeing 777-300ER to Airbus A380 operation. This will enable the airline to offer an additional 42 First Class, / 238 Business Class and 819 Economy Class seats per week.
Commencing 1st January 2013 Emirates will commence Airbus A380 operations on the EK75/EK76 Dubai – Paris CDG rotation in place of Boeing 777-300ERs. This will enable the airline to offer an additional 42 First Class, 238 Business Class and 819 Economy Class seats per week in each direction. Paris will receive 14 x A380 and 5 x Boeing 777-300ER services per week.
