Emirates A380 A6-EDC Returns from Tokyo Narita.

Following its technical return to Tokyo Narita whilst operating EK319 Tokyo Narita – Dubai on 21st October, Airbus A380-861 MSN016, Emirates A6-EDC, departed Tokyo Narita in the early hours of this morning continuing the delayed EK319 using callsign EK319D.

Emirates A380 A6-EDC EK319 Return to Tokyo Narita.

Emirates A380 A6-EDC operating EK319 Tokyo Narita – Dubai was on the climb out from Tokyo when flaps became disabled. The aircraft levelled off and dumped fuel and made a safe overspeed landing back at Narita on the second attempt. Whilst able to taxi to the stand under its own power eleven tyres were deflated due to overheated brakes.

Emirates A380 A6-EDF, which has been under maintenance at Dubai since arriving as EK347 from Kuala Lumpur on 4th October, returned to service today operating EK322 Dubai – Seoul.

Emirates A380 A6-EDD, which has been at New York JFK since 14th October, / departed for Dubai in the early hours of this morning as an additional passenger flight EK7202. The aircraft has undergone attention to the #4 engine.

A380 A6-EDX EK384 Hyderabad Medical Diversion.

Emirates Airbus A380 A6-EDX operating EK384 Dubai – Bangkok – Hong Kong diverted to Hyderabad whilst operating the Dubai – Bankok sector due to a emergency on board. The aircraft continued to Bangkok and Hong Kong with a delay of around three hours.

Emirates Airbus A380 A6-EDX entered service this morning operating the EK49/EK50 Dubai – Munich rotation. This aircraft is confirmed as being in 14F/76J/427Y configuration without the lower deck crew rest area.

Airbus A380-861 MSN106, Emirates A6-EDY was delivered Finkenwerder – Dubai this evening as EK7381. This aircraft brings the Emirates A380 fleet up to 25 aircraft.

Emirates A380 A6-EDX Delivered.

Emirates Airbus A380 A6-EDX departed Finkenwerder today on delivery to Dubai as EK7380. This aircraft brings the A380 fleet up to 24 aircraft.

A6-EDP Operates First Emirates A380 Melbourne Service.

The EK406/EK407 Dubai – Melbourne – Auckland rotation switched to A380 operation today with A6-EDP operating the inaugural A380 service. Yesterday’s final Boeing 777-300ER service was operated by A6-ECS.
