Following the technical issue it encountered yesterday, Airbus A380-861 MSN025, Emirates A6-EDH, departed Paris CDG early this afternoon operating yesterday’s delayed EK74 Paris CDG – Dubai as EK74D.

Emirates A380 A6-EUG Operates A380 Christchurch Inaugural.

Emirates switched the routing of the EK412/EK413 rotation from Dubai – Sydney – Auckland to Dubai – Sydney – Christchurch with effect from today with A380 A6-EUG operating the inaugural Christchurch rotation. This was the first Emirates A380 service to Christchurch.

Emirates A380 A6-EOD Operates EK418 Auckland Inaugural.

Emirates switched the routing of the EK418/EK419 rotation from Dubai – Bangkok – Sydney – Christchurch to Dubai – Bangkok – Sydney – Auckland today and also switched the service from Boeing 777-300ER to A380 operation with A6-EOD operating the first Auckland/A380 EK418 service.

Emirates A380 A6-EDC Dubai Test Flight.

Airbus A380-861 MSN016, Emirates A6-EDC,, which has been under maintenance at Dubai since 12th September, undertook a Dubai – Dubai test flight early this afternoon as EK2551.

Emirates A380 A6-EUR First Flight.

Airbus A380-842 MSN232, Emirates A6-EUR, made its first flight from Toulouse today wearing test registration F-WWAE and positioned Toulouse – Finkenwerder.

Emirates A380 A6-EUG Delivered.

Emirates A380 A6-EUG was delivered Finkenwerder – Dubai this evening as EK7380. The aircraft is in 14F/76J/426Y with a lower deck crew rest area. This brings the A380 fleet up to 85 aircraft.

Etihad A380 A6-API First Flight.

Airbus A380-861 MSN233, Etihad A6-API, made its first flight from Toulouse today wearing test registration F-WWAK and positioned Toulouse – Finkenwerder.

Etihad A380 A6-APA Abu Dhabi Test Flight.

Following its technical return to Abu Dhabi last night, Airbus A380-861 MSN166, Etihad A6-APA, operated a 2o minute Abu Dhabi – Abu Dhabi test flight this afternoon as EY9010.

Etihad A380 A6-APA EY454 Abu Dhabi Technical Return.

Etihad A380 A6-APA operating EY454 Abu Dhabi – Sydney stopped the climb at 6,000 ft tonight due to a technical issue. The aircraft eventually climbed to 10,000 ft before heading north over the Gulf to burn fuel before returning to Abu Dhabi for a safe landing two hours after take off.

Emirates A380 A6-EOS Returns from Athens.

Following its overnight crew delay, Emirates A380 A6-EOS departed Athens in the early hours of this morning operating yesterday’s delayed EK106 Athens – Dubai as EK106D.

Emirates A380 A6-EUF Perth Pilot Issue.

Emirates A380 A6-EUF arrived into Perth in the early hours of this morning as EK424 from Dubai (depart Dubai 8th October), however the return EK425 was cancelled after the pilot was stood down after allegedly refusing to take alcohol and tests. The aircraft was able to position Perth – Dubai during the evening as EK2669.

QANTAS A380 VH-OQL QF8 Brisbane Diversion.

Following its medical diversion via Honolulu yesterday, AIrbus A380-842 MSN074, QANTAS VH-OQL, operating QF8 Dallas-Fort Worth – Sydney (depart Dallas-Fort Worth 5th October) additional diverted via Brisbane this morning as crew did not have sufficient hours to reach Sydney. The full routing was Dallas-Fort Worth – Honolulu – Brisbane – Sydney.

QANTAS A380 VH-OQG Returns to Service.

Following the technical issue it encountered in the early hours of yesterday, AIrbus A380-842 MSN047, QANTAS VH-OQG, returned to service this morning operating today’s QF1 Dubai – London Heathrow sector with an eight hour delay.

QANTAS A380 VH-OQL QF8 Medical Diversion.

QANTAS A380 VH-OQL operating QF8 Dallas-Fort Worth – Sydney (depart Dallas-Fort Worth 5th October) diverted via Honolulu in the early hours of this morning due to a medical emergency on board.

QANTAS A380 VH-OQC Dubai Turnaround.

QANTAS A380 VH-OQC arrived into Dubai late last night as QF1 from Sydney, however instead of continuing to London Heathrow as normal the aircraft was turned around to operate today’s QF10 Dubai – Melbourne sector. Yesterday’s QF10 London Heathrow – Dubai sector was cancelled.

Emirates A380 A6-EUF was delivered Finkenwerder – Dubai this evening as EK7380. The aircraft is in 14F/76J/426Y with a lower deck crew rest area. This brings the A380 fleet up to 84 aircraft.

QANTAS A380 VH-OQE QF1 Dubai Turnaround

QANTAS A380 VH-OQE arrived into Dubai as QF1 from Sydney (depart Sydney 4th October) in the early hours of this morning, however the onward service to London Heathrow as cancelled due to a technical issue involving the aircraft on today’s QF10 Dubai – Melbourne departure. VH-OQE was therefore turned around to operate today’s QF10 Dubai – Melbourne sector. As a result today’s QF10 London Heathrow – Dubai sector was also cancelled.

QANTAS A380 VH-OQG Dubai Technical Issue.

QANTAS A380 VH-OQG arrived into Dubai as QF10 from London Heathrow late last night, however it was unable to operate the onward sector to Melbourne due to a technical issue.
